Hi.

I am having Volume problem with my Google Nexus S. In call the volume is too low so I can not understand other voice clearly. Even at noisy place its impossible to keep talking due to Volume problem. All Volume setting including Media Volume and Left Volume Key are MAX.

Anyone facing this or similar issue? Any suggestion please...

I have updated Android to 2.3.4 but still facing the issue.

Thank you.

Sakibnaz.

Hello,
The left volume key is your ringtone volume & media volume is your music, videos etc volume maxxed out.
Try calling someone up and AFTER they pick up push volume button up to max the in-call volume to maximum.
Best regards.

Replacement under warranty ?? Hope you bought it from a reliable source and warranty will be covered. At the moment I can think of no other solution.

Most people make this mistake because they start pressing volume up button before someone picks and and it increases ring volume & media volume & NOT the in-call volume.
Best regards.

It will be tough to replace. Its bought from BestBuy USA and I am using it at Bangladesh.
Really very disappointing.

Is there any apps using that its possible to increase In-call-volume?

Thanks.

This seems to be a common problem with Nexus S phones (the volume is too low in the ear speaker). Kinda funny how all these 'smart' phones don't do the 'phone' thing so well!
Anyway, there's an app that allows you to boost the earpiece speaker and not just the back speaker that's used for 'speaker phone.' You need to have root permissions, though.
I've installed it and it works! Here it is:
Volume+ (Sound Boost)

There's a free version just called "Volume+ FREE" but I haven't tried it.
Cheers!

Hi,
This is an Apple iPhone 3G/3GS Ear Piece Speaker. This goes the frame which holds the LCD and touch screen glass! So, if you cannot hear the other person during a phone call. This is the part that needs to be replaced.
